You'll learn the difference between groups and name filters — and when dynamic, condition-based selection makes more sense than an explicit, manually controlled list.
From there, we walk through units of measure and how Cosmic Frog interprets quantities like demand, supply, and capacity across your model, including how the platform handles conversions between units like kilograms and pounds, or units and pallets. Finally, we explore the model settings table, where you can define global defaults for units of measure, switch cost-to-serve outputs between quantity, weight, or volume basis, and set CO2 cost and maximum emissions constraints across your entire network.
With these tools, you can build models that are more flexible, more accurate, and easier to maintain as your network evolves.
